We believe writing Ryan Swenka in for Johnson County Supervisor is a responsible action to take on November 3, 2026, if you live in district 3 (Coralville, Tiffin, Clear Creek, Sharon Union, and Washington) of Johnson County, Iowa.

We want to vote for a candidate who will represent the best interests of the people of Johnson County and we can do that by writing in Ryan Swenka.

We are keenly aware of the needs and challenges of individuals and families living in District 3 and the pervasive ways in which those needs and challenges are dismissed in favor of municipality priorities that do not reflect the majority of our district.

District 3 is rich in immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, individuals and families who rent their residences, people with food and housing insecurity, people who need fair and affordable access to transportation, and people who are disproportionately targeted by law enforcement.

Ryan’s mayoral candidacy in Coralville was beautiful and encouraging to witness and gave us so many opportunities to understand the depth of his compassion and intellect.
