We are friends and neighbors.

While we are very focused on connecting residents to resources, we are not a nonprofit organization.

Although our shared values often result in collectively supporting a local candidate, we are not a political action committee.

We acknowledge that certain aspects of how our city is run have room for improvement.

This acknowledgement has resulted in criticism from those who feel uncomfortable with change, often because the status quo benefits them directly.

• ending the mass AI surveillance contract Coralville entered into in violation of their own purchasing policies and without city council knowledge or oversight

• Trans Day of Visibility and People’s Pride

• helping to facilitate a World Refugee Day proclamation

• improved accessibility for public city meetings — work sessions are now recorded and have been moved back to a more accessible meeting space as a result of our advocacy

• supporting residents facing abuse by elected officials

• accountability for Mayor Goodrich’s actions against residents

You can find us easily by attending a Coralville city council meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 pm at Coralville City Hall.
